Short term parking:
the short-term parking facility is directly north of the terminal entrance within easy walking distance of the airport. After the first (free) hour, charges are incurred every six hours.
long-term parking is in the same car park as the short-term facilities. The rates are essentially the same, except that after the first day the fee is no longer calculated in six-hour increments. Instead, each day is charged at a flat rate regardless of how long you were parked that day.
Drop off and valet parking:
cars are permitted to pause momentarily curb-side of Guernsey Airport's main entrance. The driver must stay with the car and can only remain long enough for passengers to unload their luggage and say a quick goodbye. Since the parking lot allows up to an hour of free parking, there's little reason to linger at the curb. Valet services are offered at Guernsey Airport.
Parking for special needs:
passengers with reduced mobility or special needs will have no problem finding dedicated parking spots at Guernsey Airport. The main car park offers wide parking spaces with access to ramps. These are reserved for vehicles displaying a disabled badge. Those who need special assistance can make arrangements through their airline.
Guernsey is a compact island that's easy to navigate so many of its visitors choose to hire a car at the airport and see to their own transportation. Car hire desks are located in the main concourse and are open for business every day between the hours of 08:00 and 21:00. The main firms are Europcar and Value Rent-a-Car (an Avis subsidiary).
